Admission Procedures

FJS admits students of any race, color, or national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  FJS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship or loan programs, or athletic and other school administered programs.

Interested parents should visit the school for an applications packet, or download and complete the following forms (Adobe Acrobat Reader required).

Download and read the "Spring/Summer 2016 Cover Letter" which explains each of the following documents.

Download and read the "Introduction to FJS." Especially note the registration deadlines and fees.

Download and read the "Why Christian Education?" flyer. This flyer explains the unique characteristic of a Christian school education where a child is introduced to Jesus as the creator of the universe and is taught to view the world as His creation and its history as His story. A more detailed discussion of our Mission Statement can be found on the "Weekly Letters" page under 2012-13.

Download and read the "2016-2017 Parent Handbook." The handbook describes the various policies which govern life at FJS including academic and graduation requirements, the dress code, and discipline guidelines.

Complete the"Parent Application Form."

Complete the "Student Enrollment Form."

Read and sign the "Parent Agreement." If a two-parent household, both parents must sign. In addition, students in grades 7-12 will receive their own "FJS Student Handbook" and will be required to sign a "Student Pledge."

Complete and sign the "Authorization for Release of Confidential Information." Include the name of your child's current school or the school he/she most recently attended.

Mail the completed forms with your check or money order for $50.00 (before 1 June, see "Introduction to FJS" for fee after 1 June) payable to "Followers of Jesus School" to the school at the address at the bottom of the page.

After we receive the completed application and registration fee, we will notify you that we have received it. New student interviews and testing will occur in mid to late June and continue throughout the summer for the fall.

At the time of your admission interview, additional forms may be required.

Thank you for your interest. We look forward to hearing from you.
